ROCK GARDEN GIG - SUNDAY
NOVEMBER 11:
The Beckett’s next performance is a return trip to
London’s Covent Garden Rock Garden, located surprisingly in Covent
Garden. For venue details and directions visit www.rockgarden.co.uk. As
with our last visit, Maxwell’s Bar (located conveniently over the road
on James Street) will be temporarily annexed as a Beckette Regional
Office and you may well spot some familiar faces in there supping the
hours away prior to the gig.
Don't forget that we have reduced entry tickets (£4) for anyone who
wants them. Ask us for them. If you turn up without one, make a point of
telling the box office that you've come to see The Beckett !!
We were asked to open the evening’s entertainment,
and for those who remember how slowly they processed the queue last
time, you’ll know to make sure you are in the queue before 7pm when
the doors open. We will be on stage by 7.30 and unlike in July, I’m
sure it won’t be quite as pleasant queuing weather!
The bulk of the set will be new to the London crowd
although those who saw us in Cornwall will recognise most of it. I’m
sure there will be some of your favourites in there, but it's a short
set and we want you all to hear the new material.
The Beckett are David Prestwich, Emlyn Hall, George Georgiou, Mark
Brimson and Mark Wardle. This has been a Sunday Session Production.
